Dear Parents and Carers,

 

On Thursday 2nd March, it’s World Book Day!  This year, we will be inviting all of the children to dress up as their favourite book characters and we will spend the day celebrating our love of reading.

 

If finding a World Book Day costume is proving to be difficult, the children can also design and make their very own World Book Day-inspired hat instead.

 

Throughout the day, your child will take part in lots of fun activities with their friends and teachers, including an online assembly led by Inspire who run Nottinghamshire County Council libraries.

 

We will also be giving out a World Book Day token to the children to spend at most book shops.
