The Lanes Primary School – Consultation on Joining a Multi Academy Trust

We have been considering the best way forward for the school for some time, and have done a significant amount of work investigating joining a Multi Academy Trust (MAT). After reviewing the options available to us, the governing body has decided that the best option for the school is to join a Multi Academy Trust. Having reviewed a number of MATs, we also decided to apply specifically to the White Hills Park Trust, and that initial application has been accepted by their trustees.

We now enter the process of joining the Trust, a part of which is a consolation with Parents. You will find below the related documents consisting of the letter informing parents of our decision, the rational document we created for joining a MAT and information about White Hills Park trust including a FAQ section.

We will be holding two consultation meetings at the Cator Lane site on Tuesday 4^th July at 6pm and Monday 10^th July at 4pm, where key people will be available to address any questions you may have.
