Welcome to The Lanes Primary
My name is Jo Revill and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school. I am proud to be the Head Teacher of The Lanes Primary School. I have been the Head Teacher since the amalgamation of Meadow Lane Infant School and College House Primary School in 2017. Prior to this, I was the Head Teacher of Meadow Lane Infant School from 2008 until the amalgamation. I am committed to this school and the community, and I am proud of the journey we have been on together to build our amazing school. Our core values were put together by the whole community and these underpin everything we do.
Our school offers many opportunities to all of our children and we value the development of the whole child. We attain good results and children achieve well and make good progress. We are an inclusive school and we celebrate the achievements of all of our children. We have worked hard to build a strong community and we believe in supporting the whole family as we work together to ensure that the children are happy, safe and enjoy school.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or you would like any more information by emailing office@thelanes.notts.sch.uk.

As Chair of Governors I would like to welcome you to The Lanes Primary School website, and especially this section for potential new starters. Starting school for the very first time is an important milestone for both you and your child and all of us here believe that this should also be a time of great excitement and opportunity.
Whilst academic progress is important, so is a love of learning that can follow your child through the rest of their life. We are therefore committed to ensuring that both you and your child will have an experience that is as positive as possible, from the very first day and throughout your whole journey at our school.
There are a number of dates to visit the school for a tour, as well as an open day to visit and meet staff and governors. We look forward to meeting you.
If you have any questions for the governors, please feel free to contact us on governors@thelanes.notts.sch.uk.
