Children’s Mental Health Week
It is Children’s Mental Health Week 1-5th February this year, and the theme is ‘Express Yourself’. This year it is all about sharing feelings and thoughts through creativity e.g. dance. As we all know this year, more than most, we need to encourage young people to express themselves and find a positive outlet for this.
Dance and Yoga are both proven to be really good ways of doing this with primary age children.
Here are some resources which have been provided to us free of charge from Rattle and Roll. Have a go with your children and let us know how you get on.
Don’t forget to send in your posters, pictures, photographs of how you ‘Express Yourself’ – we will put some of them on this page to share with you.
There is a 2 min video explaining why we’re doing the workshops: https://youtu.be/S2rJeE5TTGs
