As you are aware, the charity that the Ambassadors have chosen to support this year is ‘Forget me Notts’. This is the UK based project run by Operation Orphan and is all about helping and supporting vulnerable children to have a safe place to sleep and to support children in times of crisis. https://www.operation-orphan.org/forget-me-notts

 

Thanks to your generosity from the Readathon and the Christmas performances we have already raised over £2200 (and donated over 100 selection boxes at Christmas and 260 Easter Eggs which the Ambassadors helped to wrap and label.

 

We want to have a final push to raise some money. We would like the children to come to school on Friday 5^th July in non-school uniforms. Please could they also bring a bottle or some chocolate. The Ambassadors will then run a tombola at the Family Picnic on Friday 19^th July. Tickets will cost 50p each and hopefully we will raise lots of money. We will also take donations on the night. We are then hoping to present the cheque to the charity in assembly on Tuesday 23^rd July.
