School Closure Parent Letter Wk 1

Dear Families

Thank you so much for all your support during this week. It has been a very strange week and this new ‘normal’ will certainly take a bit of getting used to.

I hope that you are enjoying the home learning – we have certainly enjoyed seeing all your pictures and work in the class emails. Thank you to the staff who are working hard to make sure that the work we are sending home is appropriate and not too overwhelming. Keep sending us your feedback and we will continue to adapt things as we go along. We will continue to set work next week but will give you a bit of a break over the Easter ‘holiday’ – more information will come out about his next week.

As you will be aware, school has remained open to the children of our key worker families. The staff are on a rota and we will also be covering the Easter break. The staff have been amazing and I am so thankful to them for their commitment to the school and our community. We have also been so grateful to Mrs Green’s husband for delivering some of our Free School Meals to families who are isolating.

Moving forward, we are planning to contact each family regularly by phone just to keep in touch and see how you are all getting on. These phone calls will be made by the class teacher or myself and Mrs Brown. These are short calls just to keep in touch but please let us know if you need any help and support.

The school office is open every day and we are checking both class and office emails regularly. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you need us.

Take care everyone – we are thinking about you.

Mrs Revill
